U.S Military Spouse, born and raised in Shanghai China. The violin has always been her passion. Amy learned violin at age of 8 from a professor at the Shanghai School of Music, the top music school in China. Starting at the age of 14, she has had performances with professional orchestras many times on TV. In 2000, she continued to study violin and played in the orchestra at California State University Fullerton (CSUF) under David Lewis. Amy was in many master classes with famous violinists. She also attended Ruggiero Ricci's master class, one of the topmost violinists in the world. Over a decade of teaching experience with any age of children. Her students have passed professional violin auditions to be accepted into the City of El Paso (the 5th large city in Texas) Symphony Youth Orchestra, a student was the first chair of the first violins, and also another student was accepted to be members in the Chamber Orchestra in Texas. Another one of her students won second place at a music festival which was broadcasted over public radio. Amy moved from Texas to reside in Yucaipa, California. Amy will provide one on one violin lessons with her professional skill, patience and loving attention.
